Soldier's Gruel

Stout that's been distilled, then aged in old casks. Brewers have reused the same casks for centuries, giving it a slight earthy taste. It's thick with a kick, a meal in a tankard. Commonly brewed in Aundair, although it is common enough throughout Korvaire, especially among veterans who have an acquired taste for the brew.
