Sunken Tower Village

The Shaqti village which is close to Fort Ash. It boasts a population of a few hundred adults. The village is built around an oasis, which has sprung up around a sunken ancient tower, hence the name. The tower appears to be of elven make at first glance, but with closer inspection a different conclusion is drawn. The village is surrounded by a wooden palisade, which would appear to impractical, due to the volatile nature of the terrain, but the walls are protected by an ancient protection from fire enchantment. This is provided from several artifacts pilfered from the tower by brave villagers.
