Special Abilities

Spontaneous Casting: May “lose” a prepared spell in order to cast any summon nature’s ally spell of the same level or lower.
Nature Sense: (Ex)Torion gains a +2 bonus on Knowledge (nature) and Survival checks.
Wild Empathy: (Ex)A druid can use body language, vocalizations, and demeanor to improve the attitude of an animal (such as a bear or a monitor lizard). This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. The druid rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.
To use wild empathy, the druid and the animal must be able to study each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
A druid can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2 (such as a basilisk or a girallon), but she takes a –4 penalty on the check.
Woodland Stride: (Ex) Torion may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. However, thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that have been magically manipulated to impede motion still affect her.
Trackless Step: (Ex) Torion leaves no trail in natural surroundings and cannot be tracked. He may choose to leave a trail if so desired.
Resist Nature's Lore: (Ex) Torion gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against the spell-like abilities of fey (such as dryads, pixies, and sprites).
Wild Shape: (Su) (3/day)/7hrs - Small, Medium / Animal and Humanoid
Torion has the ability to turn himself into any Small or Medium animal and back again once per day. Her options for new forms include all creatures with the animal type (see the Monster Manual). This ability functions like the polymorph spell, except as noted here. The effect lasts for 1 hour per druid level, or until he changes back. Changing form (to animal or back) is a standard action and doesn’t provoke an attack of opportunity.

Shifter Speech: Torion maintains his ability to speak normally (including verbal components of spells) regardless of the form he takes. Furthermore, he can communicate with other creatures of the same kind while in wild shape, as long as such creatures are normally capable of communicating with each other using natural methods.
Improved Wild Shape: Torion can change into the following sizes: Small and Medium, and into any Animal or Humanoid creature he has encountered 7HD or less..

Link (Ex): A druid can handle her animal companion as a free action, or push it as a move action, even if she doesn’t have any ranks in the Handle Animal skill. The druid gains a +4 circumstance bonus on all wild empathy checks and Handle Animal checks made regarding an animal companion.
Share Spells (Ex): At the druid’s option, she may have any spell (but not any spell-like ability) she casts upon herself also affect her animal companion. The animal companion must be within 5 feet of her at the time of casting to receive the benefit. If the spell or effect has a duration other than instantaneous, it stops affecting the animal companion if the companion moves farther than 5 feet away and will not affect the animal again, even if it returns to the druid before the duration expires.
Additionally, the druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a touch range spell) instead of on herself. A druid and her animal companion can share spells even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion’s type (animal).
Evasion (Ex): If an animal companion is subjected to an attack that normally allows a Reflex saving throw for half damage, it takes no damage if it makes a successful saving throw.
Devotion (Ex): An animal companion’s devotion to its master is so complete that it gains a +4 morale bonus on Will saves against enchantment spells and effects.
Carrying Capacity: 43 lbs is a light load, can fly unhindered.

Tracking Breed: +4 bonus on Survival checks made to follow tracks.
Excellent Learner: Can learn a maximum of 8 tricks, and the DC for all Handle Animal checks is reduced by 2. In addition, the training time is reduced by 1 week (to a minimum of 1 week).



Is an Animal Handler in the employ of House Vadalis. He used to breed various kinds of war mounts for his enclave in Metrol, Cyre. He was travelling with a caravan of mounts to the border of Cyre and Valenar when the caravan was attacked and killed by a raiding party of Valenar elves. He barely escaped with his life, and that of his friend and two magebred Brown Bear warmounts. For his valiant efforts House Vadalis awarded him a Magebred Owl Scout named Hooter, which serves as his Animal Companion. On the day of Mourning Torion was on the western border of Cyre with a section of Cyran light cavalry, whose replacement mounts he had been delivering. They saw the grey mists approaching and the fire in the sky and rode like the wind to escape. They just barely got across the border to Breland and took refuge in a small Brelish fort that had been abandoned by the soldiers trying to get away from the oncoming Mists. When the soldiers came to reclaim the fort and found the Cyrans inside, they arrested them as POW's, and took Torion as a Vadalis refugee. They held Torion in a refugee camp in Sharn for a few months before they were satisfied he was of no threat to Breland. He was then released to live at the Sharn Vadalis Enclave in Dragon Towers, where he lived for a short time before being posted out to a Handler's guild outpost in the Bazaar of Middle Dura (Pg 57 of Sharn).
He has since been living a meager life at the Handler's, training messenger pigeons for the house, and just getting by. When the campaign starts he is down to his last gold piece and is drinking it away at the Weary Unicorn
Personality: Dislikes Elves extremely, especially the Valenar. Will grudgingly work with one, but if there is a way around it, he will normally choose the harder non-elf route. He has grown accustomed to the hustle and bustle of the crowded marketplaces of the Bazaar, and the lower class life of Middle Dura, but he is far from happy with it. It has made him quite familiar with the criminal aspects of Sharn society however, for he is constantly having to watch about him for thieves and con artists. beoming more use to the elves as he has gotten use to brett's character and is becoming better used and more trusting to them

Recent Events

About 5 months ago he went with a party on a seemingly simple mission; to locate a missing ship. It turned out to be much more complicated than they thought and it resulted in nearly a week of treacherous fighting across a savage and haunted island which they just barely escaped with their lives. Also, as a result of a khyber dragonshard exploding, Torion's dragonmark has been inreased in power to a Lesser Mark. His old friend Daellin has decided to take on the responsibility of the island and so has stayed there, although the two remain in contact through an old two way magical mirror.
Since that day Torion has been working for the house in a variety of ways which ended up increasing his standing. His biggest contribution, which is invaluable to the house, is an agreement to use Wolfran Island as a sort of exotic animal breeding ground.
also agreeing to sell part of the island land to make a cannon factory on the island got 2Xcannons plus 4 warforged in the deal.
very unhappy with the idea to go through the mournlands and would much rather go around or over very very unhappy , feels the need to check on brett's character at the island due to the fact that i tried to call him on the mirror and when he didnt answear i feel the need to check. i want to check on my dinosour breeding grounds. i am very angry about the fact to go through the mournlands, i am hating this and very cautious of caleb's character, as he is creppy and lives next door at the morgue. ? what the hell is that.
